10/6/2011

Tonight, please finish the Ionic Bonding worksheet we started in class together. Here are some hints to help:
1) If there are lots of electrons, just draw the outermost shell.
2) You will need multiples of several atoms!
#2-MgI2 (1 Mg, 2 I)
#3-Na2O (2 Na, 1 0)
#4-NaCl
#5- CaCl2 (1 Ca, 2 Cl)
#6- AlCl3 (1 Al, 3 C)
3)If you're still confused you can always come see me in the morning to get help or a HW extension.

ALSO...you got your tests back today! If you didn't do as well as you'd like, I will give everyone the opportunity to earn back half the points they lost by doing some specific test corrections that I will tell you about in class tomorrow.
